History of Juggling:
Juggling has a rich & colorful history dating all the way back to 1994 BCE, depicted on Egyptian cave drawings of females juggling and acrobats. It has been historically documented throughout Egypt, China, Ancient Greece, Siberia, The Roman Empire, America, and throughout Europe in Germany, France, England, and Ireland.
Historically, jugglers have been known to balance clay pots on their heads and perform acrobatics. They classically performed short skits and pass around a hat for tips. They juggled fruits, stones, glass, swords, shields, and even balls of gold.
Jugglers have been accused of witchcraft occasionally, but for the most part they play the part of the court buffoon, performing in market places, streets, fairs or drinking houses.
